Q: What is Mana and what are it's uses?
A: Mana is basically the stat you use on other things that will make your
account better. When you first start your mana is 50/50. This 50/50 means
you have mana left, and that your max mana you can have is 50. So at
Reset you will get 50 mana, unless you increase your maximum mana per
reset/reload(Read below on how to increase). With your mana you can raise
your stats, that help you in battles, these stats are Strength
and Agility. But mana is basically the amount of
actions you can perform a day. Mana can be used for digging in the Black Hills Mine,
fighting monsters in the Training Area (For these two actions, you can
control how much mana you use, from one to five each time you do it. Five
mana per dig, five times the result of using one mana. It just speeds
things up.) You can also pray for either Strength or Agility in the Temple of Carduzo,
which costs five mana a prayer, always. You can also battle other players
for one mana each time.
Q: How do I
get more Mana?
A: You can get more mana by gaining a level through battling monsters or
players, or from buying mana at the Fountain of Mana. When you buy mana,
your mana, your maximum will increase by one, for the price of
one-hundred crystals. There is a cap on maximum mana, which increases as
you gain more levels. To calculate maximum mana, use the formula [ Your
level + 50 x 1.8, then round up to the next whole number] For example: 1
+ 50 = 51 x 1.8 = 91.8 After round up, maximum mana for level 1, is 92
mana. If you're level one, and buy mana, or level up, when you use your
mana it will look like 0/51, this 51 is now restored at reset, where
everyone is healed also, and then if you buy more or level more, it
becomes 0/52 and so on. You can also gain more mana buy finding special
mana curses throughout the game. These are for you to discover and can be
found in 50% mana reloads, 75% mana reloads and if your very lucky 100%
mana reloads. Otherwise the best way to get more mana is to wait for game
reset, which is explained in one of the sections further down this page.
The clock in the top right hand corner, will tell you what time reset is
and what time it currently is now. Mana is restored once every 24 hours.
To see how you increase the first part of your mana, the 0/51, to 51 out
of 51, read Below
Q: When is my Mana
restored?
A: Your mana is primarily restored once every 24 hours at
the reset. Reset changes every week. it moves forward 3 hours every
Monday, by checking up the top on the right hand side of your screen, you
can see what time and date the next reset is going to occur. Other ways
to restore your mana are through mana reloads.
Q:
When is the game reset?
A: The game reset is variable, meaning that it changes once a week, on
Monday. 00:00:00, 03:00:00, 06:00:00, 09:00:00, 12:00:00, 15:00:00,
18:00:00, 21:00:00, then back to 00:00:00. These times are what time
reset will occur on a weekly basis. Always check the top right hand side
of the screen for the next reset time. Reset only happens once a day
Q:How do I make my Level Higher?
A: You can gain a level by collecting Experience. Experience is gained
through battling monsters, or players. As you gain levels, you will
require more and more experience to level up again. For example, at level
1, you are at 0/150 for experience. By gaining 150 experience, you will
level up. However, if you are at say, level 27, you will be at 0/109350.
Your experience is always availble for you to see in your Quicklinks,
located at the top left corner of your screen.
Q: What is a
mana reload?
A: Mana Reloads are Special Curses which are found rarely when you
perform actions. When digging in the Black Hills Mine, you can sometimes
find a 75% Mana Reload. When battling Monsters, you can find a 50% Mana
Reload from its corpse. You can earn a 100% Mana Reload sometimes, by
voting for Lost Realm at the voting sites, which can be found by
following the Vote Here
link. To use these Mana Reloads, click the link ''Available Curses'' in
your Headquarters, and they should be available.
Q: What is
Strength and Agility, and how can I increase them?
A: You can increase your Strength and Agility by praying at the Temple of Carduzo for 5
mana per prayer, or using potions at the Chemistry Shop.
Each potion increases your choice of your strength, or your agility by 1
point, at a price of 50 crystals and 50 diamonds for each potion. When
you level up, you also gain 1 Strength and 1 Agility.
Q: What is
HP?
A: HP is short for Health or Hit Points. Basically, it's how much health
you have. If you have 0, you are dead. Your maximum HP can be increased
by gaining a level. To heal, you must go to the Fountain of Ardana, and
pay a small fee to drink from it. Beware, for this fee increases as you
gain more HP. After you reach level 5, all revival costs a crystal as
well as the usual gold. You are also revived at reset
Q: How can I
see who is logged in now?
You can see who is logged in now by clicking Great hall, then there will
be a link that says "The Lost Realm is the home of xxxx players,
xxxx have logged in within the past few days and xx are playing
now". The X's represent numbers that are always changing. Remember
what to do to see the online list, but for now Click
Here.
Q: What is
the Forge?
A: The Forge is a place where you can combine your Crystals and Diamonds to create rings.
You can use the Forge by saving up the Crystals and Diamonds that you have,
and then filling in the fields where they are stated. Each Crystal and diamond
is worth 1 point. For stat rings, depending on which ring you buy, a stat
is increased in battle by whatever level you are. For example, if you are
level 25, and own a Strength ring of +2, you will have 50 strength extra
in battle, however, if you do not have 50 Strength, you will only get the
same as your current strength, as you're ring bonus can't exceed your
base stat. Rings only help in battle, whether against Trainers of
Players. Please Note rings are NOT real strength, it's artifcial
strength, so they can NOT be bought to equip better weapons with. You
will have to pray for that.
Q: What is
the Black Hills Mine?
The Black Hills
Mine is where you use your mana to mind for gold, diamonds, maybe
crystals, and a chance to win a Mana
Reload. You can buy equipment, Gold items types help you find
more gold, as Diamonds help you find more Diamonds, and Crystal items let you keep the Crystals you gain.
IF you do not use a Crystal
type Item, you will NOT gain any crystals. The Enchanted Miners Pic
increases the chance of finding a reload. Every 10000 Mining Ability, you
can go deeper into the mines, which means you will gain more gold. As you
gain more ability, you can also buy new Mining equipment. Occasionally
Mining Equipment brakes, which means you will have to buy it again. The
Enchanted Miners Pic can only be used ONCE, then it disappears.
Q:Why does
it tell me I can't do something because I have the same IP as someone
else?
A: When a computer connects to Lost Realm, it tells us the IP address
that it is using. To cut down on multi-account cheaters taking advantage
of the game, we prevent battles and transactions between people that use
the same IP address. You can have the same IP address and someone else if
you both use the same computer at different times or if you use diffenent
computers that go though the same firewall. Don`t worry about it, just
find someone else to battle or trade with.
Q: Why
should I logout after every login on Lost Ream and what does it do?
A: Logging out deletes the cookie on your computer. If you don't log out,
and let your session expire, then when you login again, you will see the
old pages revisited from prior to when you deleted the cookies. Also, if
you are on a shared computer, and say a sibling logs in, they will
automatically get into your account after clicking a few links, because
of the cookies.
Q: Where can I change my characters picture?
A: You can change your character's picture by going to Great Hall, and
clicking on the link ''Select your picture'' As you gain more levels, you
will earn a new set of 4 pictures at a time. Also, if you have donated 10
USD or more to the game. You can upload your own character images.
Q: Where can I get
more help if I need it?
A: You can always get help in the Message Boards by going to the
Questions Board. Lost Realm has many staff, which will also do their best
to answer your questions, although use them as a last resort, as they are
very busy fulfilling their staff duties.
Q: What is Reputation?
A: Reputation is earn by killing other players in a special fight. These fights favor the defender.
The amount of reputation you will get depends on AGE, Level, STATs, Reputaion of your victim. Reputation is need to purchase high level items.

A: The Mountain Pass is the area

Outer Realm, if you meet the requirements. The needed currency to visit
the Outer Realm is Algameth. The Prices depend on your level, and it
decides if you have to pay from 1 Algameth to 14 Algameth. If you decide
to buy a Mountain Pass, you will be allowed to visit the Outer Realm.
Take note, the pass you buy will last up to 3 days and the use of any
MANA reloads during this period will reduce your pass by one day. Plan ahead your time wisely when
visiting the Outer Realm.
Q: Where do I look, if I want to try and read up on
something?
A: You can do this, by looking for
the Help Files link. It is located under the Logout link, and within the
Help Files, you can find many things you need to know about the game.
Q: I am going on holiday for week, what shall I do
with my account?
A: We
suggest that you put your account into Statis. You can do this by
clicking on The Realm, then look for the Chemistry Shop. Here, you will
see this writing: Also, we have stasis
potions that will freeze you for 2 to 14 days, giving you protection.
This means, your account can be put on hold for up to two weeks,
If
you need to do so, because of a holiday, or something else which may have
come up. Although to use a potion, you must be alive. The effects of the
potion are immediate, and you will be logged out automatically.
Q: What is an Armoury Key?
A: An armoury key is an
item which allows you to borrow items out of the town.
Q: Where can I get an Armoury Key?
A: To get an armoury key,
you must be in a town. When you are in a town, you can request them from
the Mayor or Deputy. You’re more likely to get an Armoury Key from
the town if you donate Algameth. If your request is accepted, they will
send you an Armoury Key from the town.
Q: What can I do with an Armoury Key?
A: Armoury keys allow you
to use items from the armoury, depending on how many keys you have. If
you have 1 key, you can borrow Rings & Armour. If you have 2 keys,
you can borrow Rings, Armour and Weapons.
Q: What happens if I want to leave the current town that I
am, and I have Armoury Keys from that town?
A: The best option for
you would be to donate the keys back. If you leave a town without giving
the keys back, you and the town lose the keys altogether. This would mean
that you lose out, and the town also loses out. But what it may do as
well is if you ever decide you want to re-join that town, the chances are
your application might be denied.
