Towns FAQ

Q: What is a town?
A: A town is a group of players, in one location, much like an army, but united under their mayor.

Q: What are the advantages of being in a town?
A: Get to know other players and become friends with higher level players who may help you out. Weapons and armor can also be borrowed from the town, and also to have a team of players who stand up for each other.

Q: What are the disadvantages of being in a town?
A: Some towns have a tax so they receive a percentage of your battle experience, and other towns may set up taxes to rent out their armory items. Also when a war is taking place. If you are captured, then you can not fight players at all. You also get taxed gold, crystals and diamonds if you fight monsters and with the mines, the same thing applies.

Q: What do people who have Town jobs do?
A: People who have town jobs in theory have more power than the standard member. Each job in identified and described below.

Mayor: Owner and Leader of the town, has control over everything which happens in the town.

Deputy Mayor: The mayor's second in command. Usually has just as much power as the mayor, except the power to remove the mayor.

Barman: This person has the duty of moderating the Town's message board; they can also give out items from the Armory.

Sheriff: This person has the duty of accepting, or denying members in the town, as well as booting members from the town for a reason. Also, the Sheriff can give items out from the armory, but can also reclaim items.

Forger: This position is filled by the Town’s Armory Account. People have who access to it, can give out items from the armory, but can also reclaim items.

  Armourer: Has the duty of building and fitting members with requested equipment.

Champion: This person does not really have a job, except to win the title of Lord of The Realm for the glory of the town. In theory, the Champion is the strongest Non-staff town member in the town.

Priest: This person has the duty to Celebrate Marriages for members of the town at the Temple. The Priest can also Invite other players of the game to town; they can also Accept players who have applied to the town. Can also hand out items from the armory.

Q: How can I buy a town?
A: You can either buy them from a town leader for a price, or by winning an auction for a town, which occurs infrequently.
